It is with deep sadness that Park Police Chief Nathaniel J. Barber announces the sudden death of Detective Brent LaMere. Detective LaMere collapsed at work on Monday, June 11, 2007, and was unable to be revived.

Detective LaMere was assigned to the Montgomery County Division's Investigative Services Section. He began working with the Park Police in 1995 as a volunteer and became a police officer in 1998.
